Oh my goodness! Did I hearZappa overtones in that song? Your speaking interludes had the cadence of Frank on his songs. While not identical, it was damn close.
Your singing voice is wonderful. I like a bit of growl and edge. Bravo!
I was going for more of a Morrison vibe on the speaking parts, but Frank is cool I like him too. I have so many influences they all kind of melt together into something new or at least I hope it is new.
So you can see if I have a clue, listen to I’m the Slime from the Over-Nite Sensation album. He starts right in speaking in that low, come hither voice. What do you think?
really liked it, feeling it myself today. The beast, the blues, I picked up a little Steve Miller...
My sweet Jenna, we put her to rest today. She was 15, just a little pit but like a bull, if anything bad came between me and her.. She was a trooper!
Thanks for sharing the song!
thanks for the compliment and sorry for your loss. I've lost a few pets in my time, it hits you harder than you expect.
Sorry for your loss Kara.

It was fantastic!
You’re very kind. I recorded that tune over 20 years ago, still holds up, other than it was mastered a little quiet.

Oh I’m very familiar with Fanks narration, it is iconic, he’s got that really low resonance that works so well
