Great piece!!

And here I was, thinking that that was love not courage..

You almost had me convinced... lol ... then again, it takes courage to love.

I could not agree more and I'm grateful that finally somebody talks about the other side of fear!

Fear kills everything.

My friends think of me as fearless ( If they knew they'd be even more scared!! Hahahaha!! ) they somehow don't realize that taking that adventure, that trip, that risk, that chance, that opportunity, is what truly keeps the spirit alive.

I see it all around, almost lethargic, inertia...

And I get it, I'm feeling dread or unease to drive into our city here and face human kind far more than when I used to travel to Pakistan. ( I'm 5'11, blond... every snipers dream! lol not army related )

Reminds me of the quote by Jonathan Swift:

"May you be alive every day of your life".

And it's just like you said, a muscle that grows accordingly!

We don't grow in our comfort zone.

I'm not afraid of death, I'm afraid of what comes before.

Thank you!!
